"It takes a Village" follows Catherine's critically acclaimed 2016 show, Welcoming the Stranger (2016) and was commissioned by Siamsa Tire & Kerry County Council for Culture Night 2017. Working once again with migrants, refugees, asylum seekers and Kerry locals, this new show goes deeper and particularly highlights the challenges of those in Direct Provision. The piece welcomes Ireland's new communities, their cultures, music, dances and songs and shows that it truly takes a village, it takes all of us, the entire community to make change.
